OEM Capabilities of Foam / Air Hybrid

Foam/Air Hybrids are support services that provide alternating therapy that result in loading and offloading of pressure at the patient interface. The custom fit air bladders are ideally zoned between 2 and 3 comfort levels, ranging from firm to soft. These adjustable zones provide enhanced pressure redistribution and comfort as well as active therapy when coupled to a powered pump system. FXI is able to customize these Foam/Air Hybrids per OEM's specifications. Durable, air-tight seams are created using an RF welding (Radio Frequency Welding) process to bond substrates such as polyurethane, PVC, and other thermoplastics. All bladder, tube, and fitting assemblies undergo 100% inspection and testing. FXI conducts in-process leak testing to verify all air bladders prior to assembly. Depending on customer preference, FXI is able to use visco, open cell visco, and gel infused foams to create a unique Foam/Air Hybrid experience to meet any patient need.
